Product Training 

Thorough training is fundamental to the success of any selection or development process. It is the assessors and interviewers who are responsible for ensuring the process operates smoothly and in the manner for which it was designed. We provide detailed training to help users of our products to apply them confidently and effectively. Details of our most popular training programmes have been set out below.

 

PAPI Training

 

Cubiks delivers training in the PAPI™ personality questionnaire on a regular basis for clients who wish to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to understand, interpret and conduct feedback sessions using the questionnaire. Through a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, worksheets, practical sessions and group activities, the programme covers:

  • The role of PAPI in assessing personality at work
  • The background, structure and psychometric basis of PAPI
  • The different versions of PAPI
  • The use of PAPI for different assessment and development applications
  • Other PAPI tools including automatically generated reports and Job Profiler
  • Best practice issues

In advance of the course, delegates are asked to complete some preparatory work which includes working through the PAPI e-learning CD-ROM (providing a background to personality theory, an introduction to the PAPI and the 'needs' and 'roles' scales) and completing the PAPI-I and PAPI-N questionnaires through Cubiks Online.

 

The broad aims for delegates attending the course are to:

  • Administer, score and profile PAPI (including administration through Cubiks Online)
  • Define PAPI factors and scales accurately
  • Interpret a PAPI profile and generate hypotheses on individuals’ personality and preferences
  • Manage an interactive PAPI feedback discussion effectively
  • Use other PAPI tools, including Job Profiler Online

Reasoning for Business Training


The Reasoning for Business course is designed for HR administrators wishing to acquire the knowledge and experience necessary to administer, score and provide feedback on the Cubiks Reasoning for Business™ test batteries. Using a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, worksheets, practical sessions and group activities, this course covers:

  • Basic principles of assessment and test administration
  • Scoring and interpreting test scores
  • Providing oral and written feedback
  • Legal and ethical issues in test administration

The broad aims for delegates attending the course are to:

  • Plan and conduct a test administration session
  • Accurately score Cubiks Reasoning for Business™ tests
  • Interpret test scores using comparison groups or 'norms'
  • Provide written and oral feedback to candidates

Cubiks Online Training


We often find that our clients require members of their administration team to be able to send out assessment invitations to candidates, even if they will not be responsible for the interpretation and scoring of the tests themselves. For this reason, we offer a short briefing session in how to use Cubiks Online system. This is a hands-on training course that enables delegates to practice using the system whilst in the company of an experienced user.

The session covers:

  • Entering candidate details
  • Selecting assessments
  • Sending invitations and reminder emails
  • Generating reports / results (to be passed to a trained user for interpretation)
  • Organising and grouping candidate results for ease of access / reference
