What are the key stages in a Team Audit?
Our Team Audit service assesses individual and team behaviour in relation to group objectives. The process can vary according to the needs of the client. A typical audit involves the following steps:
- Step 1: Before meeting members of a team, we spend time understanding the relevant company’s vision, strategy, objectives and culture. This involves discussion with the team leader and other senior stakeholders in the business.
- Step 2: Once this has been done, we define the key competencies that will be examined during the audit and agree how the success of the exercise will be measured.
- Step 3: All team members complete assessment exercises followed by an individual feedback interview with a consultant. This interview provides the opportunity to explore the behaviour and preferred work styles of each of the team members in relation to the defined success competencies.
- Step 4: The participants then receive feedback on their individual development needs and agree an individual action plan.
- Step 5: All team members take part in an interactive session during which individual and team results are discussed and measured against the success criteria. The process is concluded by defining personal and team goals, and creating individual and collective development programmes that are compatible with and support the company’s overall strategy.
