Head of Client Development
Establish an organisation-wide client development program designed to both deepen and broaden client relationships and drive commercial growth
Drive company-wide and local initiatives to expand the business and drive client excellence.
Develop a deep knowledge of our solutions; continuing to build the skills and expertise of our client development professionals.
Achieve revenue targets by connecting client organisations to solutions.
Partner with Business development professionals to support operational execution of new client sales.
Interact with senior executives and key contacts in target accounts to both build rapport and understand their key business/leadership and talent development needs.
Identify opportunities by leveraging existing contacts and generating leads in complex buying situations.
Prepares complex proposals and solutions that require creativity, entrepreneurialism and specialist knowledge.
Developing a comprehensive training plan for our client development professionals.
Previous experience working in a senior client services / account management role, ideally in an international context
Ideally, substantial track record in HR/Talent/Leadership consultancy or B2B software sales
Proven track record of growing business with large customer accounts.
Experience of devising, developing and monitoring key account plans and managing performance against key performance indicators
Strong management skills and a natural leader and motivator of people.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.
Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
Known for producing high quality, timely work that meets or exceeds stakeholder expectations
Ability to work with colleagues to develop compelling approaches that unlock value for clients
Ability to identify new ways to grow accounts through leveraging relationships, moving into new business areas and expanding geographic reach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with senior executives on complex business issues
Strong interpersonal and team skills required for client and internal interactions
High degree of IT literacy
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Human Resources or Psychology.
Additional qualifications in client relationship management or a related area would be a bonus.
Ability to establish instant credibility with leaders and local business developers
