Cubiks is an expanding firm with an exciting future and we are looking for high-calibre individuals to help us realise our full potential. If you are ambitious, share our vision and would like to work for a company that encourages creativity and values innovation, Cubiks could be the place for you.
As one of the world’s leading assessment and development consultancies, we believe it is important that applicants are given the opportunity to experience our assessment products and services as they move through the different stages of our rigorous selection process. Below, we provide details of the typical steps that we require candidates to complete when applying for a role with Cubiks.
Please note that process described below is for illustrative purposes only. While your selection process is likely to mirror many or all of the steps described, we will tailor the assessments that are used according to the role requirements, and for this reason it is possible that your selection process may differ from that described below.
- The Application
You can search and apply for jobs at the Current Vacancies area of this web site. Here, you will be able to view further details on each of the roles listed and the process to follow when applying. In most cases, you will be asked to email us a copy of your CV and a covering letter.
- Initial Interview
Depending on the position you have applied for and the location of the role, you will either be asked to take part in a telephone interview or invited to our offices to have an initial discussion with members of the selection team. This provides both parties with an opportunity to introduce themselves and to make an initial assessment of the likely cultural fit between applicant and the role.
- Online Assessment
Following the initial interview, all successful applicants are invited to complete Cubiks' online personality questionnaire (PAPI) which has been designed to explore an individual's typical behaviour and preferred working style. A selection of other assessments from the Cubiks portfolio may also be included in the online assessment stage, depending on the nature and requirements of the role.
- The Assessment Day
As a next step, applicants are invited to visit a Cubiks office to take part in an assessment day. Typically this will last 3 - 4 hours and provides applicants with an opportunity to explore the findings from their online assessments with Cubiks assessors, complete further assessments such as a role play or business simulation exercise if required and on most occasions, take part in a competency-based interview. This interview allows us to understand your skills and competencies in greater detail. During the assessment day, we will also provide you with an opportunity to ask us any questions you may have about the position or our unique culture and to learn more about the benefits of working at Cubiks.
- The Offer
If we believe you are well suited to the role, and have the skills, competencies and cultural fit required to succeed at Cubiks, we will contact you with an offer very shortly after the assessment day. In the vast majority of cases, this will not be later than two days after the assessment. If you accept the offer, an offer letter and contract will be sent out to you and we will look forward to welcoming you to Cubiks in due course.
Practice Tests
Before completing your online assessments, you may wish to visit the Candidate Area of our web site where there are links to a selection of practice ability tests. These tests are made available to help candidates familiarise themselves with the type of assessments that they are likely to complete as part of the Cubiks selection process. Please note that we do not make further practice materials available to candidates so kindly request that applicants do not contact Cubiks requesting additional practice test materials.
